Mae Eva Castleberry, age 97, of Baton Rouge, La, formerly of Warren, Arkansas died Monday, January 26, at home. She was born October 13, 1917 in Cleveland County, Arkansas a daughter of the late Bert Everett Wright and Bethyl Eunice Kelly Wright. She was a tomato farmer and a Baptist. She married Clyde Lafayette Castleberry in 1934 and he died February 20, 1968. Surviving are 3 sons Walter Jerry Castleberry, Warren, Ark, Clyde Everet Castleberry and Glenn Ray Castleberry both of Baton Rouge, La; 5 daughters Ada Jean Berry, Little Rock, Ark, Bethyl Joyce Cowden, Opelousas, La, Mary Elaine Castleberry and Evelyn Mae Castleberry both of Baton Rouge, La, and Carolyn Gail Carline, Bayou Sorrells, La; 2 sisters Mildred Smith, Shreveport, La. and Shirley Norris, Hermitage, Ark; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Graveside services were 10:00 am Thursday, January 29, at Hickory Springs Cemetery near Warren with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Arrangements were by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bucky Wright, Bill Montgomery, Bill Slaughter, Donnie Wright, Robert Blanchard and Paul Cash. Honorary pallbearers were Sheriff Rick Anders, James E. Smith, Don McWilliams and Bruce Cash.
