Lucy Baskin Taylor, age 81, of Warren, AR died Thursday December 4, 2014, at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren, AR. Born February 3, 1933 in El Dorado, AR a daughter of the late Harvey Crawford Baskin and Florence Annie Fairly Baskin she was a retired home economics teacher in the Warren Public Schools with 39 years of service, a member of First Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Henderson State University. She married Thomas Dale Taylor December 27, 1957 in Strong, AR and he died May 11, 2005. Surviving is a daughter Joan Taylor Cunningham and spouse Jason of Warren, AR. Also preceding her in death was a sister Joan Elizabeth Baskin. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Sunday December 7, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Philip Faris officiating. Musicians were Janice Sullivan, Karen Watkins and Felecia Doster. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Andy Taylor, Doyle Gill, Bryan Martin, W.A. “Dub” Kimbrell, Dennis Morgan, Tom Owens, Bernard Dozier and Tommy McLemore. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Kerry Pennington, Billy Joe Watson, Keith Jones, Jamie Raper, Layne Baugh and Cliff Morgan. Memorials preferred First Presbyterian Church, 212 East Church Street, Warren, Arkansas 71671.
