Obituary:
Julia Davis Brown age 72, of Moro Bay, AR died Wednesday December 3rd at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. She was born October 30, 1942 in Banks, AR a daughter of the late Elmer Smith and Helen Landreth Smith. She was a retired lumber sales person for 26 years with Potlatch Corporation and a housewife and homemaker. She loved Moro Bay, Arkansas and was a member of the Moro Bay Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death was a former spouse Jack Davis, a brother Odie McFarland and 5 sisters Ramona Harmon, La Voice Mc Farland, Juanita Bennett, Bethel Woodard and Margie Williams. She is survived by her husband Carey Brown whom she married March 6th, 1993 at Moro Bay, AR. A son Scott Stewart, Decatur, Alabama and a daughter Lonna Nicolle Stewart, Lancaster, Ca. 1 sister Margaret Craig, Los Angeles, CA. 9 grandchildren. Funeral services were 1:30PM Saturday, December 6th at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Jim Bales officiating. Linda Barrett was pianist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jeff Hendricks, Jim Byrd, Paul Butler, Jerry Word, Bubba Gannaway and Glen Gates. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy McLemore, Jan McLemore, Ronnie Smith, Jo Ann Smith, Clyde Temple, Geneva Curry, Joey Curry, Chrisann Gannaway and Nina Thomas Word. Memorials preferred Bradley County Humane Society.
