Charles Edward “Bill” Trantham, age 82, of Warren, AR. died Thursday November 28, at Chapel Woods Nursing Center in Warren. Born May 22, 1931, in Drew County, AR. a son of the late Ed Trantham and Lenora Ruth Trantham he was a retired salesman for Brown Packing Co., a member of First Presbyterian Church, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a wife Ann Neely Trantham. Also, preceding him in death was a brother Howard Trantham and sisters Lenora Wiscaver and Audrey Clark. Surviving is a daughter Alice Ann Hill and spouse Sonny, Warren, AR. A grandson Andy Green and spouse Katie, Monticello, AR. a great-grandchild Lillie Kate, his wife Billie Nell Trantham, Monticello, AR. A step son Brooks Handley, Little Rock, AR. Nephews Ken Wiscaver and spouse Bobbie, Monticello, AR., Tommy Clark, Fayetteville, AR. and a niece Annette Cruce and spouse Loma, Pine Bluff, AR. Graveside services were 1:30 p.m. Sunday December 1, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Gary Maskell officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bill Wisener, Don Scogin, Norman Word, Rick Stracner, R.L. Gates and Sam Plumb.
