Message: To the Greenwood Family, I only spent a short time with Miss Christine, but it was easy to see she was warm and loving towards all she knew, especially her family. I wanted to express the joy of myself and my sisters for the relationship that she and our Dad had over these past few years. I know he looked forward to their phone calls and I am so glad that you all made the effort to bring Miss Christine to visit Dad at the Veterans Home, especially this past summer. He said he believed that they started the 3rd grade together there in Farmville. To know someone that long and to be able to share memories of people, places and times that none of us even knew had to be very special. That is a true friendship and we are so blessed that it could enrich both their lives. We know how special mothers are and what their loss is like. Know that you are all in our prayers.
