James Robert “Buddy” Harlow, age 45, of Monticello, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 21, at home. He was born January 9, 1959 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas a son of the late Ralph Stanley Harlow and Betty West Harlow. He was a graduate of Rison High School, served in the U. S. Navy, and was a Baptist and a welder for Seark Marine. Surviving is his wife Kathy Ashcraft Harlow whom he married on November 9, 2001 in Rison, Ark; 1 daughter Jennifer Harlow, Warren, Ark; 1 step daughter Carla Stewart, Pine Bluff, Ark; 2 brothers Steve Harlow, Herbine, Ark. and Barry Harlow, St Joseph, La; 2 sisters Rebecca Harlow, Rison, Ark. and Mary O’Leary, McGehee, Ark; 1 grandson Xavier Stewart, Pine Bluff, Ark; 1 granddaughter Shaina Stewart, Pine Bluff, Ark. Funeral services were 4:00 pm Saturday, July 24, at Frazer’s Chapel by Rev. Johnny Brewster. Janice Sullivan was the organist. Burial was in Prosperity Cemetery at Herbine by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Pallbearers were Willie Brennon, John Gannaway, Jay Carter, Earl Railey, Ronnie McEntire and Bo Clayton.
