Obituary:
Dorothy Lea Hopkins age 82, of Warren, AR died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Chapel Hill Nursing Center in Warren. She was born June 17, 1930 in Duncan, Miss a daughter of the late George Washington Hopper, Sr. and Lena Mae Mann Hopper. She was a retired employee of Misceramic tile factory and Care Inn Nursing Home both in Cleveland, Miss. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a former spouse William Hopkins, a brother George Washington Hopper, Jr. and a sister Rose Marie Utz. She was survived by a son Ronnie Hopkins and spouse Tammy, Water Valley, Miss; and 2 daughters Pat Harper and spouse Roy, Warren and Donna Sue Stewart and spouse Joe, Texarkana, AR. 2 sisters Vera Mae Downs, Carrolton, Miss and Carroll Joyce Mitchell, Carrolton, Miss. 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchild. Funeral services were 2:00pm Sunday, May 19 at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Tom Williams and Rev. William Harton officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Scott Chapman, Dereck Harper, Dustan Harper, Kerry Harper, Brandon Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell and Tim Trantham. Honorary pallbearers were Phil Flemmons, Steward Mitchell and Dr. Joe Wharton.
