Floys Taylor age 93 of Rye, AR died Monday April 22, at the Chapel Wood Nursing Home in Warren. He was born October 31, 1919 in Rye, AR a son of the late Jim Taylor and Pearl McClain Taylor. He was a Millwright with over 35 years of service, a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Local, a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church and a United States WWII Army Veteran serving in the Aircorp. Also preceding him in death was his wife Louise Braswell Taylor, whom he married January 31, 1942 and she died February 3, 2011. Brothers Homer Taylor, Ellis Taylor, Troy Taylor and LeRoy Taylor. Sisters Ruth Jones and Lorene Sweeney, a granddaughter Ashley Holiday and daughter in law Susan Taylor. Survivors include 2 sons, Bacil Taylor(Rena), Pine Bluff, AR and Galen Taylor, Pine Bluff, AR. 1 sister Geraldine Byrd, Pansy, AR and 5 grandchildren. Belinda Brown(David), Jim Taylor(Donna),Mishelle Sutton(Kip),Todd Taylor(Christy) and Amanda Robinson(Jason). 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were 2:00PM Wednesday, April 24th at Enon Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Stroh officiating. Musicians were Sybil Vinson, Donna Taylor and Ronnie Dickerson. Burial was in Enon Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jim Taylor, Todd Taylor, David Brown, Kip Sutton, Jason Robinson, Rhine Brown, Patrick Brown, Nicholas Brown, Hunter Taylor, Chris Taylor, Gauge Taylor, Jacob Sutton and Carson Taylor.
