Obituary:
Van Doyle Mann age 71 of Warren, AR. died Thursday, January 31st at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 19th, 1941 in Hermitage, AR. a son of the late John T. Mann and Moeice Braswell Mann. He worked for Riverside Press for over 30 years and later it became Lone Star Container Company in Dallas, TX. He was a United States Army veteran earning the Expert Riflemans Award and a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He was also preceded in death by a brother James Earl Mann. Survivors include his wife Virginia Sue Culley Mann whom he married February 2nd 1963, spanning almost 50 years of marriage. A son Timmy Dale Mann, Warren, AR. and a daughter Melanie Ann Ratcliff of Fredericksburg, Virginia. A sister Elois Ivey and spouse Travis, of Warren, AR. 3 grandchildren Mitchell Jacob Ratcliff, Mason Garrett Ratcliff and Mallory Ratcliff. Funeral services were 3:30pm Sunday, February 3rd at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jim Bales and Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Music was provided by Shirley Outlaw and Georgia Jones. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were John Ivey, Wade Mann, Shannon Ray Mann, Michael Culley, Mitchell Ratcliff, Mason Ratcliff and Mark Ratcliff. Honorary pallbearers were Doyle Gill, Dale Wolfe, James E. Smith, David Wagnon and members of Grassy Pond Deer Club.
