Rev. Bill Wheeler, age 78, of Little Rock, (formerly of Warren), died Thursday August 19, at John McClellan V.A. Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born April 26, 1926 in Warren a son of the late Lemuel Washington Wheeler and Nancy Hannah Dotson Wheeler. He was the widower of Rosetta Mae Pendleton Wheeler who died October 16, 1992. They were united in marriage December 28, 1956. He was a retired Freewill Baptist minister, a mechanic and maintenance director at Camp Beaverfork, member Faith Freewill Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. Also, preceding him in death were brothers George Abram Wheeler, Daniel Franklin Wheeler, James Monroe Wheeler and sisters Charity Elizabeth Barnett and Martha Ann Wheeler. Survivors are 1 foster son Walter Gallentine, Shelby, North Carolina; 1 foster daughter Pat Sanson, Monticello, Ark; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 4:30 p.m. Sunday August 22, Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Johnny Jones and Rev. Rudell Smith. Janice Sullivan was the organist and Bernadette Jones sang. Burial was in Willoughby Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Pallbearers were W. A. “Dub” Kimbrell, Dennis Morgan, Mack McClain, Wade McClain, Michael McClain and Don Hunter.
