Robert W. Tate, age 76, of Warren, AR. died Sunday September 23, at home. Born October 16, 1935 in Warren, AR. a son of the late James Orlan Tate and Hazel Odessa Adams Tate he was a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, a retired security officer for Potlatch Corporation, an active volunteer for the Bradley County Veterans Museum, member Immanuel Baptist Church and the widower of Toby Bratton Tate who died February 14, 2008. They were united in marriage October 12, 1957. Also, preceding him in death was a brother James Billy Tate. Survivors are 1 son Gregory Bratton Tate, Hermitage, AR. 1 daughter Kristel Tate Parker, Texarkana, TX. 1 granddaughter whom he raised Heather Rogers and spouse Levi, Warren, AR. 1 brother Louis Gene Tate, Warren, AR. 1 sister Janice Lawrence, Warren, AR. 2 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors were 2:00 p.m. Wednesday September 26, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. David Richey officiating. Arrangements were by Frazerís Funeral Home. Memorials preferred Bradley County Veterans Museum; 210 N. Main St.; Warren, AR. 71671.
