James A. “Pete” Loveless, age 55, of Wilmar, Arkansas died Saturday, July 2, at Arkansas Heart Hospital. He was born June 6, 1950 in Warren, Arkansas a son of the late Benjamin Alec Loveless and Buna B. Cox Loveless. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife Betty Thomasson Loveless whom he married on October 8, 1984 at Warren, Ark; 1 son Chris Rawls, Monticello, Ark; 2 daughters Lisa Lynette Rice, Monticello, Ark. and Angie Simmons, Warren, Ark; 2 brothers Roger Dale Loveless, Pine Bluff, Ark. and Herschel Loveless, Valley Community, Ark; 1 sister Sandra Kay Savage, Sumpter, Ark; 4 grandchildren Callie Simmons and Joey Simmons both of Warren, Ark, Anna Rice, Wilmar, Ark. and Kristie Ann Rawls, Monticello, Ark. Step mother Ruby Loveless of Valley Commumity, Ar. 1 step son Tony Skender of Crossett, AR. 1 step daughter Lynn Skender of Crossett, AR. 1 step brother Dudley Hawkins of Greenhill, AR. 2 step sisters Judy Flemister of Greenhill, AR. and Carol Palmer of Montana. Funeral services were 2:00pm Tuesday, July 5, Frazer’s Chapel with Vic Champan and Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Sandra Kay Savage. Burial was in Valley Cemetery in Drew County by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Roger Donaldson, Rodney Donaldson, Jody Rawls, Sonny Rawls, Jim Calhoun and Donald Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers were Rusty Glennon, Renious Harton, Larry Piffer and Tony Flemister.
