Curtis Woodall, age 86, of Rye, AR. died Wednesday January 18, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born August 5, 1925 in Warren, AR. a son of the late Thomas Houston Woodall and Vestie Ann Taylor Woodall. Curtis was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army serving in England France and Okinawa, Japan from 1943 to 1952. He was a farmer, member Enon Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Duracraft Boat Factory. Also, preceding him in death were brothers Howard Woodall, Sr., John Woodall, Aubrey Woodall, Andrew Gordon Woodall, Homer Woodall; sisters Carol Lee Woodall and Maudie Mae Tipton. Survivors are 1 sister Julia Woodall Williams, Jacksonville, AR. and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday January 21, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Chris Herrington officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Rye, AR. by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bill Moseley, Tommy Moseley, Bob Williams, Larry Williams, Howard Woodall, Jerry Woodall, Tommy Woodall and Odys Woodall. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Woodall, J.B. Boston, Billy Ray Jones, Tommy Gavin and Daniel McClain. Memorials preferred Enon Missionary Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
