Travis O. Moseley, age 78, of Monticello, Ark. died Friday, Oct 7, at Drew Memorial. He was born Feb 17, 1933 at Furth, Arkansas a son of the late Mason A. Moseley and Irene Gardner Moseley. He served in the air police of the United States Air force and was a retired Deputy Sheriff for Harris County, Texas. Surviving are 4 daughters Ramona Moseley, Alcoa, Tenn, Rebecca Walsh, Salt Lake City, Utah, Marjorie Vaughn, Jacna, Ariz. and Barbara Turpin, Yuma, Ariz; 1 brother Veo Gardner, Houston, Tex; 1 sister Aline Prescott, Banks, Ark; a special friend Mary Mitchell.; a number of grandchildren and great grand-children. He was also preceded in death by a son Robert Moseley and 2 brothers George Lee Moseley and Charles T. Moseley and a brother in law Ruben Prescott. Funeral services were 10:00am Wednesday, October 12, at Frazerís Chapel with Bishop James R. Prescott officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery at Banks. Active pallbearers were Bill Gardner, Jim Gardner, Hershel Tillman, Michael Gardner, James R. Gardner and John Gardner. Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Prescott, John Tillman, Odell Wolfe, Veo Gardner, Terry Moseley and Curley Cathey.
