Bobbie Urrey, age 84, of El Dorado, Ark. died Saturday, Sept 24, at Courtyard Health and Rehab. She was born March 24, 1927 at Hermitage, Ark. a daughter of the late Watt Jennings and Annie Johnson Jennings. She attended Antioch Baptist Church and was a Warren Country Club retired food service worker. She loved cooking reading western and romance books, watching old western movies, bluegrass, country and gospel music, dancing, making dolls and crocheting. Spending time with friends and family, her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren brought great joy to her life. Family reunions on the banks of Moro Bay, the Pink Tomato Festival and the love of Bradley County, Arkansas were also important to Bobbie. Survivors 3 sons David McVay, Waxahachie, Tex, Ronnie McVay, Sr and wife Sharon, Smackover, Ark. and Wayne Urrey and wife Connie, Bernice, La; 8 grandchildren Shane McVay and wife Sarah, Jennifer Garcia and husband Jose, Angela McVay and Luke Burch, Ronnie McVay, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Richard McVay, Chris McVay and Tabitha Kemp, Amber Urrey and K. D. Urrey; and 12 great grandchildren Madelynn McVay, Nicholas McVay, Sophia McVay, Vivian Mcvay, Marshal Creager, Olivia Creager, Shannon Evans, Susan Burch, Jacob McVay, John “J. R.” Cook, Justin Cook and Alyssa McVay. She was also preceded in death by 2 husbands Clarence Albert “Ruff” McVay and Wayne Sherwood Urrey, Sr; 5 brothers Jerry Jennings, Roy Jennings, Sherman Jennings, Paul Forrest and Ray Forrest and 3 sisters Carrie Mae Dunbar, Ruby Lee Jennings and Lois Henry.. Funeral services were 2:00pm Wednesday, September 28, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and Debra West was soloist. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery near Hermitage by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Wayne Urrey, David McVay, Ronnie McVay, Shane McVay, Ronnie Lee McVay, Richard McVay, Chris McVay and K.D. Urrey.
