Helen Nettie Landers Saunders, age 90, of Warren, AR. died Friday August 5, at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock, AR. Born November 15, 1920 in Cleveland County, AR. a daughter of the late James Oliver Ross and Nettie Mae Shelby Ross she was a homemaker, a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church and the widow of Evans Landers who died December 10, 1987 and Pete Saunders who died April 11, 1997. Also preceding her in death were brothers John T. Ross, Ira Ross, James P. Ross, a sister Margaret Remenschnitter and 2 step sons Bobby Frank Saunders and Glynn Allen Saunders. Survivors are 1 son Charles T. Landers, Cibolo, TX., 1 daughter Shirley Jackson, Batesville, AR. 1 brother Loyd Ross, Warren, AR. 1 sister Novelle Thompson, Warren, AR. 6 grandchildren Kevin Jackson, Tommy Landers, Brian Landers, Kristi Landers, Trent Saunders, Michelle Saunders. 2 great-grandchildren Tristan Saunders and Jaye Michelle Saunders and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 4 step sons R.P. Saunders and spouse Sheila, Grenada, MS., Roy Saunders and spouse Julia, Greenville, MS., Kenneth Saunders and spouse Beverly, Warren, AR. and Gary Saunders and spouse Debbie, Warren, AR. 1 step daughter Virginia Hargis and spouse Larry, Warren, AR. 2 step daughter in laws Sandra Barnett and Bobbie J. Saunders both of Warren, AR. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Monday August 8, at Frazerís Chapel with Elder Woodrow Hudson officiating. Terry Young was pianist and Pam Groves sang. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tommy Landers, Kevin Jackson, Trent Saunders, Tristan Saunders, Michael Frisby and Terry Young. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Ross, Dr. David Chambers and Dr. Dichelle George.
