Maxine Lee Forrest, age 84, of Warren, AR. died Tuesday June 28, at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation in Crossett, AR. Born September 28, 1926 in Warren, AR. a daughter of the late Jeff Lee and Birdie Hooper Lee she was a retired employee of Sykes Flooring, a homemaker, member First Assembly of God Church and the widow of James Donald “J.D.” Forrest who died October 20, 2008. They were united in marriage July 29, 1946. Also, preceding her in death was a brother Billy Lee and a sister Marilyn Forrest. Survivors are 1 son Don Forrest, Warren, AR., 1 daughter Joyce Ann Braswell and spouse Baylon, Mt. View, AR. 1 brother James Lee and spouse Syble, Old Hickory, TN., 1 sister Merlene Pinson and spouse Olen, Warren, AR. 4 grandchildren Tracy Forrest, Jeffery Forrest both of Warren, AR., Shawn Braswell, Mt. View, AR., Angelia Roque, Warren, AR. and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Friday July 1, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Victor Hunter officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jeffery Forrest, Jeremy Turner, Steve Jones, Shawn Braswell, Jody Jester and Billy dean Clay. Honorary pallbearers were Olen Pinson, Claude McKinney, Donnie Rice, Jeff Jester and Dr. Kerry Pennington. Memorials preferred First Assembly of God Church.
