Name: Gerald Hickman
Message: When in the second grade, after school one day I went home with Lamar to spend the night. His father played the violin and allowed me to try my hand. No doubt the sound was awful, but Lamar and his Dad fully supported my little-boy effort. It was an introduction to the violin, and a lasting enjoyment of classical music. Lamar will linger in my thoughts, and my prayers go out for Varniece and his family.
