Charles A. Sloan, age 66, of White Hall, Arkansas formerly of Warren died Monday, October 25, at StVincents Doctors Hospital , Little Rock. He was born June 5, 1938 in Bradley County, Arkansas a son of the late Guy Silas Sloan and Avarice Inez Whittington Sloan. He services 20 years in the U.S. Army, was a graduate of Warren High School and a Baptist. Surviving is his wife Joann Anderson Sloan whom he married on May 5, 1964 at Bellaire, Maryland; 2 sons Mike Sloan, Benton, Ark. and John Sloan, White Hall, Ark; 2 daughters Charlene Gorman and Linda Sloan both of White Hall, Ark; 1 sister Sue McMurray, Banks, Ark; 5 grandchildren. A son Allan Sloan also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 10:00 am Thursday, October 28, at Frazerís Chapel by Rev. Wayman Mann. Linda Barrrett was the organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Gerald Mitchell, Kenneth Castleberry, Joseph Gorman, Allan Sloan, Grady Sloan, Jr. and Charles Wolfe.
