Noah N. Smith, age 70, of Warren, AR died Thursday, March 17 at Bradley County Medical Center. Born September 10, 1940 in Kinston, N.C., he was the son of the late Woodrow W. Smith and Sallie Dudley Smith. He was a member of the Church of God. He was a retired welder for DuraCraft Boats and F&F Boats of Monticello. Survivors are his wife, Patsy Rice Smith of Warren whom he married February 14, 1961 in Kinston, N.C.; a brother, Woodrow W. Smith, Jr. and wife Brenda; three sisters, Shirley Smith Hinson and husband Bill; Mary Smith Dysinger; Shelby Smith Reece and husband Edward all of Kinston, N.C.; two sisters-in-law Jean Smith of Dover, N.C. and Peggy Rice Doss and husband Auddy of Monticello, AR. Other survivors include brothers-in-law LaVern Rice and wife Reba; Leonard Rice and wife Sharon all of Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Franklin Smith, Sr. of Dover, N.C. and a special aunt, Nancy Smith Bartlett of Pikeville, N.C. Funeral services were held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 20th at Frazerís Chapel with Reverend Wayman Mann officiating. Organist was Mary Donaldson and Kathy Lyon Pace was soloist. Burial was at Union Cemetery in Rye, AR. by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Wayne Jordan, Donald Hollingsworth, Grady Laster, Andy Nichols, Warren Nichols and Joe Nowlen. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Dichelle George, Ralph Reep, John George, Doug Flemister, Ray Oblinger, Morris Ray Curry, Tim Nichols and Bobby Jack Flemister.
