Obituary:
Jim Joe “Buddy” Miller, age 83, of Sumpter, AR. died Wednesday February 23, 2011 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, AR. He was born August 23, 1927 in Warren, AR, a son of the late Earl Miller and Lucy Risher Miller. He was retired from Calion Lumber Co., member of Martin’s Chapel United Methodist Church, the widower of Ellece Baker Miller who died November 12, 2010 and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Also, preceding him in death was a son Randy Jim Miller, a brother Earl “Sparky” Miller, Jr. and sisters Patsy Ruth Miller and Charlotte Kelly. Survivors are 1 son Allen Miller and spouse Diann, Parkers Chapel, AR. 1 granddaughter Casey Donohue, Parkers Chapel, AR. 1 great-grandchild Kailey Donohue, Parkers Chapel, AR. Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Saturday February 26 at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Organist was Janice Sullivan. Burial with flag presentation was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Gerald Wayne Wilson, Hugh Allen Beasley, Jonathan Beasley, Mike Miller, James Miller, and Nicholas Scroggins.

Message: I was so shocked to her about Mr Buddy. MOther ask about him everytime we go bay there. I spent as much time in Bradley Co. as I do at home. You are in my prayers and thoughts.
