Gary Dean Castleberry, age 55, of Lake Village, AR. formerly of Warren, AR. died Sunday February 20th 2011, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village, AR. Born October 25, 1955 in Houston, TX., he was an employee of Entergy, had served many years in law enforcement, was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, was the widower of Kathy Deggs Castleberry and was also preceded in death by his father Gordon Lee Castleberry. Survivors are 2 sons Gordon Lee Castleberry and spouse Angelia, Durham, N.C., Christopher Castleberry and spouse Kelly, Warren, AR. 2 daughters Jennie Castleberry McDougald and spouse Brian, Homosassa, FL., Peggy Castleberry Barnes and spouse Bobby, Warren, AR. His mother Virginia Jacobson Castleberry, Warren, AR. 3 brothers Don Castleberry, Houston, TX., Gene Castleberry, St. Maryís, GA., James Castleberry, Jonesboro, AR. 1 sister Beth Castleberry Markway, De Ridder, LA. 13 grandchildren and a special friend Linda Powell, Lake Village, AR. Funeral services 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 26, Frazerís Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. Steve Fleming officiating. Organist was Linda Barrett. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery near Hermitage, AR by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Gordon Lee Castleberry, Christopher Castleberry, Gene Castleberry, James Castleberry, Bruce Hunter, Robert Sellers Bobby Barnes, and Norman Cornish. Honorary pallbearers were Challen McDougald, Logan Carroll, Gabriel Deleon, Avery Castleberry, Liam Castleberry, Beau Castleberry, Clay Barnes Caleb Barnes, Casey Barnes, Carson Barnes, Don Castleberry, Carlton Powell, Jr.

I always enjoyed talking with him during lunchbreak. The last time I saw him, he was managing a store in Lake Village. Gary was such a nice person and I know he will be missed.
