Obituary:
Walter Gene “W.G.” Kitchens, age 71, of Harrell, AR. died Friday December 31, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Born September 1, 1939 at Warren AR. a son of the late Henry Rufus “H.R.” Kitchens and Maude Williams Kitchens he was a retired bulldozer contractor and a Baptist. Also, preceding him in death was a brother Larkin Kitchens and a sister Myrtle Kitchens. Survivors are 1 son Randy Kitchens, Hampton, AR., 3 daughters Missy Thomason and spouse Herman, Harrell, AR., Teresa Ables, Hampton, AR., Ivy Kitchens of Texas. 4 grandchildren Joni Strickland and spouse Rick, Jarrod Thomason and spouse Lacey, Jessica Ables and Linley Ables all of Hampton, AR. 2 great-grandchildren Skylar Strickland and Harley Strickland. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Monday January 3, Faustina Baptist Church near Harrell, AR. with Rev. Gene Boyette and Rev. Tony Rinehart officiating. Music was provided by Shirley Hollis and Jessica Ables. Burial was in Faustina Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Billy Frank Williams, Perry Williams, Tony Williams, Carroll Hollingsworth, Keith Whitmer, Jarrod Thompson, William “Brother” Black and Tony Teater. Memorials preferred Faustina Baptist Church and Cemetery.
