Obituary:
Kay Ann Walker Cook, age 68, of Hermitage, AR. died Monday October 25, at her home. Born April 1, 1942 in Charleston, IL. a daughter of the late H.L. Walker and Wanda Frances Campbell Walker she was retired from Union Pacific Railroad in Pine Bluff as a yardmaster with 34 years of service and member Grace Episcopal Church in Pine Bluff. Also, preceding her in death were brothers Terry L. Walker and Harvey L. Walker. Survivors are her husband Glen W. Cook whom she married December 31, 1961. 2 sons Joe W. Cook and spouse Patricia, Rison, AR., Gordon K. Cook and spouse Vivian Skitka, Houston, TX. 1 daughter Kristie Cook Harrod and spouse Brent, Hermitage, AR. 1 sister Carol Sue Walker Hall, Pine Bluff, AR. 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday October 28, at Cypress Memorial Gardens near Pine Bluff with Rev Wade Totty officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were James Martin, Johnny Allison, Wade Hall, Jimmy Lockhart, Bruce Williams and L.D. Billing. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. James Lindsey and Dr. Michelle Weaver.
