Obituary:
Roy Herbert Forrest, age 79, of Warren, AR. died Tuesday October 12, at Lifetouch Hospice in El Dorado, AR. Born April 26, 1931 in Bradley County, AR. a son of the late Herbert Forrest and Bessie Stuard Forrest he was a retired farmer, carpenter, employee of Duracraft Boat Company, member First Assembly of God Church and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Also, preceding him in death were 3 sons Bobby Forrest, Donald Forrest and Roy Dean Forrest. Survivors are his wife Opal Pruitt Forrest whom he married February 24, 1954. 1 brother O.W. “Fiddle” Forrest, Lanark, AR. Nephew Lynn Grice and spouse Susanne, Warren, AR. Great nephew and nieces Lexy Grice, Jade Grice and River Grice all of Warren, AR. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Friday October 15, Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Victor Hunter and Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist were Wanda McClellan and Mary Robbins Fierce. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Chase Cox, Ray Allen Outlaw, Calvin Outlaw, J.T. Carr, Bill Jones and Doyle Gill. Honorary pallbearer was Jr. Wagnon
