Nora Dumas Ross Donaldson, age 67, of Grove Hill, Alabama formerly of Monticello, Ark. died Thursday, September 9, at Jackson Medical Center, Jackson, Alabama. She was born December 5, 1942 a daughter of the late William Dumas and Grace Sheffield Dumas. She was the former owner of Nora’s Truck Stop and Monticello Produce Company in Monticello and was a member of Coy Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Donaldson and a brother David D. Dumas. Survivors are 2 sons Franklin D. Ross, Milo, Ark. and David Simms Ross, Monticello, Ark; 3 daughters Catherine Cordon and spouse William, Benton, Ark, Liz Paul, White Hall, Ark. and Paula Geiser and spouse Skip, Grove Hill, Ala; 3 brothers Reuben S. Dumas, Monticello, Ark, William P. Dumas, Mexia, Ala. and James P. Dumas, Mobile, Ala; 2 sisters Ann Youngblood and spouse Dallas, Monticello, Ark. and Pauline Daniels and spouse Buddy, Selma, Ark; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Graveside services were 10:30am Monday, September 13, at Oakland Cemetery, Monticello, Ar. with Rev. Kenny Worbington officiating. Active pallbearers were Chance Taul, Steve Morris, Tim Williamson, Skip Geiser, Dallas Youngboood, Heath Moore, Bill Lockhart and Bubba Hutchinson. Local services by Frazer's Funeral Home.
