Martha Golden Gardner age 75, of Mabelvale, AR. formerly of Bradley County, Ark. died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Bryant Health Care Nursing Home. She was born November 17, 1934 in Bucksnort, Dallas County, Ark. a daughter of the late Yel Green and Viola Green. She was a cook, a lifelong housewife, homemaker and a Baptist. Preceding her in death is a former husband Ernest Gene Golden, who died July 8, 2007 and her husband William Thomas “Red” Gardner, whom she married November 29, 1993 and he died April 15th, 2005; 2 sisters Lillie Mae White and Florence Helen Sanders. Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry Golden, Pine Bluff, Ark. and David Golden, Popular Bluff, Mo. 3 daughters, Dianna Hudson, Mabelvale, Ark; Carolyn McCoy, Sikeston, Mo. and Linda Byrd, Naylor, Mo; 16 Grandchildren and 20 Great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 24th, Childs Cemetery near Banks, AR. with Rev. Victor Hunter officiating. Arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Robert Franklin, Hugh Funderburg, Lynn Grice and Jessie Goodman.
