Message: Last night one of the very few "GOOD MEN" left this world of pain & sadness and went to a heavenly home that we can only hope that we will go there when it is our time. He wasn't rich, famous or royalty, but to me he was & always will be "my Uncle Johnnie Mack". He was a brother, who always loved & took care of his siblings. He was a son who honored his parents. He was a faithful husband of 59 years, who lost his loving bride only a few months ago. He was a father who taught his children well. You only have to look at their lives to see that they are living up to the standards that was showed to them. The love & care they have shown to their parents is rare these days. He was a very proud Papa of his grandchildren & the great grandkids. You weren't around him very long till their names would come up. He was not only a coworker or foreman, but he was loved by his peers and they considered him a true friend. But to me, he was more than an uncle. He loved my sisters & I as if we were his own children. He has stood by us during every event rather it be happy times or sad times.Even though we didn't see each other as often as we should have, we always knew we could count on Uncle Johnnie Mack no matter what the need was. I will miss those great big arms that could hug you and make you feel so loved & so safe. The smile that he would have on his face that showed just how glad he was to see you. If someone reads this and you did not have the pleasure of knowing him, you missed out.I will always love & remember the man who was more than just an uncle, he was "MY Uncle Johnnie Mack". To all the kids & grandkids, I love you & you will be in my thoughts & prayers. Barbara Kay
