Obituary:
Rose Elizabeth Poole age 87, of Warren, AR. died Tuesday, April 27th 2010, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was born July 20, 1922 in Bradley County Arkansas, a daughter of the late Frank Asberry Hollingsworth and Florence Elizabeth Duncan Hollingsworth. She was a housewife, a member of the First United Methodist Church, a retired pharmacy employee, working at McCaskill, Gannaway and U.S.A Drug Stores in Warren. Also, preceding her death were two husbands, Charlie Hoyle, whom she married April 12, 1941 and he died August 5, 1983, Abe Johnson whom she married September 1, 1990 and he died November 25, 1991, and a brother, Lamar Duncan Hollingsworth. Survivors include her husband Royce Poole, whom she married October 15, 1995 in Warren, AR, a daughter, Virginia Louise Harkins, Little Rock, AR. 3 step sons, Phillip Poole, Monticello, Miss., Michael Poole, Broken Bow, OK and John Thomas Poole, St. Paul, Minn. 2 grandchildren, Heath Harkins and spouse, Cathy, Jasper, TX and Ashley Bourne and spouse, Elliott, Hensley, AR. 3 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren. Graveside service was 2pm Friday, April 30th at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Soloist was Jonathan McGhee. Active pallbearers were Bill Wisener, Kevin Hoyle, Edward Calvert, Howard Calvert, and Pat Hammons. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Bates, Jimmy Taylor, Jack Bourne, Robert Bourne, David Hoyle, Tony Hoyle, and Torry Hoyle. Arrangements by Frazerís Funeral Home. Memorials preferred The First United Methodist Church.
