William Earl Langston, age 85, of Fordyce, Arkansas died Tuesday, December 14, at St Vincentís, Little Rock. He was born August 11, 1919 at Jersey, Arkansas a son of the late John Nathan Langston and Mattie Ima Adams Langston. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Warren, a retired sanitation worker and a US Army veteran of World War II. Surviving is his wife Syble Heinley Langston whom he married on August 3, 2003 at Fordyce, Ark; 2 sons Samuel Earl Langston, San Diego, Cal. and Terry Ray Langston, Des Moines, Iowa; 3 daughters Lillian Margarite Smith, California, Debra McCarthy, Shreveport, La. and Sandra Vicknair, Pearland, Tex; 1 step daughter Beverly Carter, Star City, Ark; 1 sister Marie Taylor, El Dorado, Ark; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. A wife Dorothy McNamee McCabe Langston and a son William Allen Langston also preceded him in death. Funeral services were 10:00 am Friday, December 17, at Frazerís Chapel by Rev. Craig Jenkins and Rev. Laron Blann. Janice Sullivan was the organist and Rev. Laron Blann and Barbara Blann sang. Burial was in Stony Point Cemetery near Fordyce, Arkansas by Frazerís Funeral Home of Warren. Pallbearers were David Bradford, Michael Bradford, Kenny Williams, Kenneth McDougald, Jim Bob McDougald and Dale Smith.
