Obituary:
Ann Rhoden Halley, age 76, of Warren, AR, died Tuesday, April 6 2010 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was born March 27, 1934 in Fordyce, AR, a daughter of the late John Neil Rhoden and Hazel Farrar Rhoden. She was a housewife and homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Draughn Business College. Ann loved the Lord, her family, and her yard. She raised her children in the fear and admonition of the Lord; she tended her yard with love and careful devotion. Even throughout her valiant battle with pancreatic cancer our mom and Nana remained the dawn in our darkness. She is survived by her husband, Bernie Clyde Halley, whom she married May 1, 1952; 3 sons- Steve Halley and wife, Sandra of Warren, AR, Mark Halley and wife, Kathy of Rowell, AR, and Michael Halley and wife, Kathy of Natchez, MS; 2 daughters-Sharon Halley West and husband, Eddie of Warren, AR and Carita Halley Ryburn and husband, Bennie of Monticello, AR; 10 grandchildren- Sarah Halley, Jonathan Halley, Christopher Halley, Ashley Halley, Brian Halley, John Neil Halley, Jason Halley, Kennedy West, Halley Ryburn, and Madison Ryburn. Funeral service was 10 a.m. Friday, April 9th at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Gregg Stanley and Rev. Glenn Morgan officiating. Music was provided by Robert Green, Marlin Raines, Donna Raines, and Linda Barrett. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Fordyce, AR by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Chris Halley, John Neil Halley, Jonathan Halley, Brian Halley, Jason Halley, and Shawn Vickers. Honorary pallbearers were Gayle Simpson, Mary Thornton, Terry Jones, Billie Barnes Calloway, Aber Gannaway, and Roger Mann. Memorials preferred: First Baptist Church; 310 S.
